What an amazing team! It makes me emotional to look at this picture. It's such a chaotic day trying to get everyone together and organized for this event. But wow is it worth it and look at all of these beautiful faces all there for one person & one cause.

FAITH, HOPE & LOVE

I love the Race For The Cure and this year I was tasked at designing a t-shirt for my mom's team. This is our 4th year walking for my mom who is a breast cancer survivor.

I can't wait for Sunday and I'm honored to walk with my mom. She is my hero & inspiration!

Updates & wedding invitation designs

First off, I'm sorry for not blogging in over 2 months. Things have drastically changed in my life. I switched departments at my workplace which has been a true blessing. Less responsibility, less hours, less stress and more sleep!

I've also picked up a new job from home designing websites. It is great, great, great! But, it does mean less time doing this job - a job that I truly love.

These cards are from May but I wanted to share because I thought they were fun. And it was so fun to do them for an old friend.

It was with the greatest pleasure to create a birth announcement for this beautiful family. These parents are amazing and have been blessed with quite an amazing little girl. When I went to visit, she was already smiling and cooing.

She really is such a beautiful miracle.

Meet precious little Jake... kristi young design

Look at this precious little baby boy! I was so excited to create an announcement for my great client and friend. The pictures are so great and this little boy is so beautiful.

My inspiration for this card comes from her curtains that her mom made for the nursery. I loved the green and blue striped pattern.

I hope they enjoy these announcements as well as these precious early days with their new son.

Refreshed from a great vacation

I just got back from a fabulous 10 days in Florida. I had a great time. Ethan was thrilled to be outside all day - everyday, playing at the beach and swimming in the pool. That's mostly what we did everyday, and it was wonderful. Because Ethan was so entertained by the beach & the pool, I got to put my feet up and relax.

It was also great to spend time with my husband and his family. Ethan couldn't get enough of his cousins, Paige & Bailey. And I also think they enjoyed spending time with him.

Now that I'm refreshed, I'll be updating the blog soon with more birth announcements, some custom stationery, and photo book templates.

And... it's not too early to start thinking about Christmas. I will be working on some new Christmas card designs for 2010.
