A baby shower invite for a good, dear friend

My good friend from junior high & high school is having a baby! She will be one of the best mothers I know. I absolutely can't wait to meet this new bundle of joy.

When she asked me to design her shower invites, I was soooo excited. To be a part of something so special, makes this job so much more meaningful.

So.... I hope she loves them! She deserves the BEST:)

A birthday invitation

I like to do a collage for the front of Ethan's birthday party invitation because the top left picture is Ethan on his 1st birthday and the bottom right picture is Ethan at the end of the year. I say that in the present tense because I plan to do it every year.

It's cool to see how much he has changed over the year. I can't believe it. He was like a baby in January and now... He is so grown-up. Every picture shows off his little personality or should I say BIG personality. These 2 years have flown and I'm having way too much fun!

The simple pleasures & SCOOTS

Here is another favorite card from 2009.

The picture says it all.

And, if you haven't checked out Scoots in downtown Perrysburg, you NEED to. The cutest shoes and great customer service makes it my favorite store in the area (and Ethan's too)! He loves to go in and get his foot measured:)

Thanks Leslie for ordering cards!

The cutest snowman EVER!

I think this is one of the cutest pictures I've ever seen. So I thought... a very cute Christmas card:) I wish dad would have been in the picture, but who would take it then? I love how they are kissing their adorable & colorful new friend. I bet they were sad when he melted away.

I am so excited... over 500 cards that I've designed will go out this year with my logo on the back:)

Happy Holidays dots card

Another set of beautiful pictures to work with.... This card is a little more fun and contemporary then some of my other traditional cards. And isn't she absolutely gorgeous!

I was thinking about a conversation I had with some friends over the weekend, do Christmas cards have to be "Christmasy"? I think not, but some people just think there has to be a snowman or Christmas tree on the card. I'd love to know what you think. Comments are encouraged:)

Christmas cards for the "S" family

What a beautiful family! I thought the pictures stood out a lot with this black card. And the photos are absolutely amazing. You can tell each child here has their own personality.

The Christmas card market

In this day and age, everything is digital. Texting, email, twitter, facebook. Do you think people will continue to send out Christmas cards? I can't imagine NOT doing so. Christmas cards reflect a little bit of who you are, your personality, your style... YOU.

What do you think?
